Darryl Elliott
Darryl ElliottDarryl spent 13 highly productive years in the marketing and advertising field. During his career, he designed print materials including ads, direct mail, POP and POS displays, brochures, newsletters, billboards and corporate identity programs. He wrote and produced numerous television commercials, sales presentations, videos and multimedia presentations. Later, Darryl worked in the broadcast industry, writing and producing advertising spots for over ten television stations across the country.
Prior to his advertising career, Darryl did paste-up and mechanicals at a mid-sized advertising agency in Atlanta. Within a short time, he was promoted to Senior Art Director and was responsible for turnkey production for print, radio, television and multimedia advertising materials. During this time, he had the opportunity to work on a variety of media with a diversity of clients.
As a hobby, Darryl began providing science fiction and fantasy illustrations for many game companies, books and magazines. Eventually, his freelance illustration work was as productive and lucrative as his advertising work, leading him to pursue a full-time career as an Illustrator. Darryl has been the Artist Guest of Honor at dozens of science fiction conventions across the country and won numerous awards for his artwork. He was voted Best Interior Artist by Asimov Magazine for six consecutive years. Darryl currently combines his advertising and illustration experience, by creating unique branding experiences that social media marketing can provide.

Edith Flowers Kilgo, M.S.
Edith is the author of three commercially published books and more than 400 articles published in national and local publications (The Atlanta Journal Constitution, Life, Writer’s Digest, Bookstore Journal, Specialty Salesman, Income Opportunities, This Week Atlanta, Pocket Change Investor, The Mother Earth News, Good Housekeeping, Family Circle, Prevention, etc.). She was a contributing writer for six additional books, as well as for the website MSN.com. She has served as columnist for three national magazines and been a book reviewer for a trade publication. She taught “Marketing Your Writing” at Clayton State College.
Edith was the publisher/editor of the newsletter Creative Downscaling and the previous owner of Creative Downscaling Press. As a freelance editor, she specialized in editing academic writing and doctoral dissertations.
At Georgia State University (GSU) in Atlanta, she edited professional articles for Business magazine as well as business books (finance, economics, etc.) for the university’s Business Press. Edith was the accredited compiler of the reference guide, Directory of Foreign Manufacturers in the United States. She also served as GSU’s university editor, writing and editing various types of university materials, including fund-raising, marketing, safety compliance, alumni, and public relations publications. She has been interviewed on radio and television shows, and was featured in Time magazine.

Julie Ward, B.Mu.
Julie offers extensive expertise in a variety of business and creative fields, including marketing, customer service, graphic design, art, photography, website design, event planning, education and music.
Julie has spent 12 highly productive years in the marketing and graphic design/photography field. During her career, she designed and produced customized marketing materials (including photographic work) and designed/maintained client websites. In addition, Julie has provided architectural, wedding/special event and portrait photography to clients on a freelance basis. As part of her work, she offered set design and staging services. Julie has written scripts for commercial and radio voice-overs and has designed marketing books for real estate professionals. She has promoted special events for clients.
She is the President and Founder of the Georgia Childhood Bipolar Foundation (GCBF), a parent-led foundation that provides support and education to families with children diagnosed with or at risk for bipolar disorder in the state of Georgia. Julie has advocated on behalf of the foundation. She has published articles for the Atlanta Chapter newsletter of the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance.
Julie offers expertise in event planning. Under her leadership, GCBF hosts physician-led seminars and conferences for meeting participants. She has planned and/or facilitated a variety of special events, including: medical seminars/conferences, marketing workshops, nonprofit fundraisers, music productions/conferences/camps and training sessions.
In addition, Julie is an accomplished musician. She has served as pianist and children’s choir director. Most recently, Julie was the chorus teacher and music educator in a local school system.
As a hobby, Julie competes in art and photography challenges with Worth1000. Julie’s artwork has placed highly in these competitions.
